The Brazilian College of Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging (CBR) was present at the 32nd European Symposium on Urogenital Radiology (ESUR 2026), held between September 24 and 27, in Paris, France. The entity was represented by Dr. Ronaldo Hueb Baroni, Director of International Relations of the CBR.
As part of the scientific program of the congress, Dr. Baroni gave a lecture in the plenary session “ESUR Meets CBR”, contributing to the exchange of knowledge among specialists and highlighting Brazilian expertise and scientific production in the field of genitourinary radiology.
In addition to scientific participation, the agenda included meetings with important leaders of the European Society of Urogenital Radiology (ESUR). Dr. Baroni met with Prof. Geert Villeirs, President of ESUR; Prof. Evis Sala, President Elect of the society; and Prof. Marie-France Bellin, President of ESUR 2026.
The main objective of the meetings was to strengthen the relationship between the CBR and ESUR. By maintaining an active presence in internationally relevant scientific forums, the CBR continues to work to increase the visibility of Brazilian Radiology on the world stage and strengthen its ties with leading medical societies in different regions of the world.
