CBR Board members participate in ICR 2026 and CCR 2026 in Colombia

The Brazilian College of Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging (CBR) was represented by Dr. Rubens Chojniak – President and Dr. Ronaldo Baroni – Director of International Relations, at the event. International Congress of Radiology (ICR 2026) which was held simultaneously with the 49th Colombian Congress of Radiology (CCR 2026).

The participation of the CBR Board in the event corroborates the College's commitment to strengthening international relations with other radiology and diagnostic imaging societies, in order to collaborate with the advancement and growth of the community worldwide.

The ICR 2026 and CCR 2026 conferences were held in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia, from May 14-16, 2026. The central message of ICR 2026 was: Innovation, quality, and access must advance together to ensure that the life-saving benefits of medical imaging reach patients everywhere.

Doctors Rubens Chojniak and Ronaldo Baroni also participated in the scientific program of the Colombian congress and the congress of the International Society of Radiology (ISR). The Brazilian College of Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging attends major scientific meetings around the world, consolidating its presence in the advancement of radiology and diagnostic imaging.
