Several cities in the country hold Radiology conferences starting this month

On May 31st and June 1st, in the morning and afternoon, the Barra Shopping Sul Events Center will host the XXIX Gaúcha Radiology Day – JGR2019, promoted by the Gaúcha Association of Radiology – AGR. The event will feature several activities presented by doctors, nurses, technicians and other professionals specialized in the subject. Registration to participate in the event is now open and can be done on the website www.jgr2019.com.br. Also taking place, from May 31 to June 2, the II Journey Goiás-Brasília de Radiologia – Clube do Interior, in the city of Pirenópolis, in Goiás. The event is promoted by the Radiology Societies of Goiás and Brasília. More information will be available soon on the website www.sgor.org.br In June, on the 14th and 15th, it will be the turn of the XXI Pernambucana Day of Radiology and the XXIX Course on Diagnosis by Breast Imaging. The event will take place at the JCPM Trade Center, in Recife, and will feature renowned national and international professors. In the south of the country, the Society of Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging of Paraná invites everyone to participate in the 12th Parana Radiology Conference, which will have as its theme the Image of Women. The Journey will take place from the 28th to the 30th of June, in the capital of Paraná, Curitiba, and the main novelty for the event is the presence of an international guest: Dr. Anthony Thomas Stavros (USA), associate professor of the Department of Radiology at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center and one of the pioneers in the creation of BI-RADS®. The book “Breast Ultrasound” is his authorship and is used as a reference when the subject is Breast Ultrasound. In addition, the 12th Paranaense Day of Radiology will feature Hands-on courses in the areas of elastography, thyroid ultrasound and breast biopsy.
