MG: Radiology Society and Services Launch Resident Meeting

srmgInspired by the SIG-Abdome teleconference meeting, which has been in existence for several years and coordinated by doctors Giuseppe D'Ippolito and Carlos Matsumoto, from the Federal University of São Paulo (Unifesp), Dr. Rogério Augusto Pinto da Silva, current scientific director of the Society of Radiology and Imaging Diagnosis of Minas Gerais (SRMG), and the Coordinators of Radiology Medical Residences of Belo Horizonte (MG) Dr. Claudia Juliana de Rezende, CDI of Mother Teresa Hospital, Dr. André Morgante, of Felício Rocho Hospital, Dr. Fabiana Paiva Martins from Mater Dei Hospital and Dr. Henri Amedée Peret from Santa Casa launched SIGradioMG.

Sixty resident physicians attended the first meeting held in the auditorium of the Regional Council of Medicine of Minas Gerais (CRM-MG), in the capital of Minas Gerais, in which two radiological cases were presented: one of abdomen (Petersen's hernia) and another of chest (fibrosis). idiopathic pulmonary disease).

The next meetings are already scheduled, each under the responsibility of a service. The meeting is transmitted through a specialized application, which enables the participation of services from other mining cities.
