Death Note

It was with great sadness that the Brazilian College of Radiology and Image Diagnosis (CBR) received the news of the death of Dr. Edison de Barros e Silva, on Saturday (12/05) due to complications from COVID-19 Dr. Edison was president of the SRPE from 1999 to 2001, he was a preceptor physician at the IMIP Imaging Service and a master's degree from the Federal University of Pernambuco. In an article written by him for the CBR Bulletin (July/2020 edition) he highlighted: “From an early age, Medicine found me, perhaps because of the opportunity it would provide me to help people. I have always been concerned about the welfare of others.” The CBR, on behalf of Brazilian Radiology, expresses solidarity and its most sincere condolences to the family and friends of Dr. Edison.
