Between November 4th and 6th, Padi held another edition of the Internal Auditor course according to the Padi Standard. This year, 16 students graduated. In partnership with Formato Clínico, the course has been running for almost a decade and has established itself as a benchmark in training auditors for the radiology field. The activities provide participants with the knowledge needed to evaluate, correct and implement improvements in audit processes, boosting the quality and safety of imaging services.

For Professor Ana Paula Rangel – PADI’s lead auditor, the students’ participation and engagement are a reflection of the course’s positive impact on the professionals’ routine. “This course is essential for those seeking to deepen their knowledge about auditing and quality in radiology. The practice of internal auditing helps institutions maintain more organized and safer processes, generating a direct impact on patient care and well-being,” highlights Ana Paula.
Dr. Cristina Khawali, also a professor on the course, emphasizes the importance of ongoing training for professionals in the field. “It is inspiring to see the participants’ commitment to excellence and safety in imaging services. The course provides essential tools for identifying flaws and improving processes, benefiting both professionals and patients seeking safe, quality care. We have spent almost 10 years building a network of auditors who are transforming radiology practices,” says Dr. Cristina.
