Padi will have its results displayed during the RSNA

The results of the main Brazilian program of quality in diagnostic imaging will be presented at the biggest international event in Radiology, the 105th edition of the annual meeting of the Society of Radiology of North America (RSNA) which takes place between December 1st and 6th, at Chicago city in the United States. Physicians and specialists in the area from more than 130 countries and world-renowned health centers will gather, including representatives of the Brazilian College of Radiology (CBR) who will present a study on the Accreditation Program in Diagnostic Imaging (padi) of the institution. According to Dr. Luciano Chala, coordinator of the Commission for Accreditation in Diagnostic Imaging at CBR and one of the authors of the work, the objective is to present the results of Padi to the international community, in addition to reinforcing the great social benefit that the program offers by certifying the services of diagnostic imaging in Brazil when quality and safety. In these three years of implementation, Padi has already accredited around 30 public and private radiology services in the country. “Exhibiting our accreditation program at the largest international event in the area gives visibility to CBR's action and demonstrates the college's commitment and concern with the quality of care, safety and reliability of diagnostic imaging services in the country. it allows this community, upon becoming aware of the program, to eventually contribute with suggestions and improvements”, says Chala.
