The first phase of the 2023 Expert Title Test and Area of Expertise Certificate took place last Sunday (21). The evaluations were applied in six cities in the country: Belo Horizonte (MG), Brasília (DF), Curitiba (PR), Rio de Janeiro (RJ), Recife (PE) and São Paulo (SP), starting at 9 am (time from Brasilia).
Tests of the following specialties were applied: Mammography, Bone Densitometry, Vascular Doppler Ultrasound, Diagnostic Neuroradiology, Therapeutic Neuroradiology, Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging, Interventional Radiology and Angioradiology, Ultrasonography in Gynecology and Obstetrics, and General Ultrasound.
In all, 841 candidates were present at this stage. São Paulo was the city that received the most people, there were 348. The most popular specialty was Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging (RDDI), 381 candidates took the test with this objective.
It is noteworthy that only 78 people did not attend the test sites. As with the number of candidates present, the city of São Paulo was the place that recorded the highest number of absentees, 40 candidates did not carry out the evaluations.

Second stage
The second stage of the race is scheduled to take place on July 8th and 9th, in the city of São Paulo (SP). At this stage, candidates will undergo an oral and practical test on devices. The Titles of Specialist and Certificates in the Area of Expertise are made up and are the exclusive competence of the Brazilian Medical Association.
The request for fabrication must be made with the Specialty Society, according to the guidelines present in the announcement of each contest. The deadline for receipt is 30 to 45 days, counting from the payment of the bill.
