The Brazilian College of Radiology and Image Diagnosis (CBR) brought another novelty for residents at the beginning of the year. Three scholarships will be offered to third-year residents/students (level 3) in Radiology and Imaging Diagnosis, Brazilians, carefully selected based on the performance of the Annual Resident Assessment, which will take place this Sunday (26) in 12 cities in Brazil. The scholarship is valid for the beginning of the second half of 2020 and the training will be offered free of charge by ESOR and CBR, lasting three months. The fellow will receive an amount equivalent to €3,500.00 in a timely manner, to subsidize his travel, accommodation, food and health insurance expenses during training in Europe. Lasting three months, the ESOR and CBR Scholarship will provide the opportunity to study in a highly qualified residency program in Europe, recommended by ESOR. Supervised by specialized preceptors, residents will be introduced to a specific subspecialty module in Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging and will have the opportunity to follow and participate in the basic training program, which will take place through tutorials and lectures, followed by practical training about routine clinical cases and/or techniques and protocols of the modalities. It will be possible to choose between the following subspecialties: Neuroradiology, Thoracic Radiology, Musculoskeletal, Abdominal Imaging and Breast Radiology.
