Brazilian resident selected for the French Society of Radiology's Rising Stars for Radiology Grant 2026 program.

Dr. Guilherme Strieder, a resident physician at the Hospital de Clínicas de Porto Alegre (HCPA), was selected to join the Rising Stars for Radiology Grant 2026, a program of the French Society of Radiology (SFR) aimed at training and encouraging young radiologists with academic potential.

The initiative, promoted by SFR-CERF, is a joint action of Société Française de Radiologie (SFR) and of College of Enseignants in Radiology from France (CERF), a leading medical radiology organization in France, offers participants from different countries the opportunity to experience an immersive scientific research program, with guidance from prominent international mentors.

The participation of Brazilian radiologists in the program was made possible through a partnership between the Brazilian College of Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging (CBR) and the French Society of Radiology (SFR). As a representative of Brazil, Dr. Guilherme was one of 15 selected to participate in the 2026 edition and present his work during the event. 74th Francophone Radiological Journals (JFR 2026).
