RS: Jornada Gaúcha and Hands-on are highlights of the 1st semester

The Jornada Gaúcha de Radiologia (JGR) 2017 will take place on June 23 and 24, at the Events Center of Barra Shopping Sul, in Porto Alegre (RS). The traditional event is promoted by the Associação Gaúcha de Radiologia (AGR) and brings together radiologists from all over Rio Grande do Sul. This year, the president of the Brazilian College of Radiology and Image Diagnosis (CBR), Dr. Manoel de Souza Rocha, who will address issues related to abdominal image. The hallmark of JGR is the high educational quality of the activities, and again the event will feature lectures by highly experienced renowned professors. This year's main innovations will be the presentation of cases in the Hugolino Andrade session at Jornada, discussions on management and the career of radiologists at the Arena, and lectures with greater interactivity. Presentation of Radiology Leagues, imaging research laboratories and oral free themes will also be strengthened. The first theme, coordinated by Dr. Jader Muller, will talk about the cervical/neck region and will take place in the month of May. The course will approach in a practical way, with interactive cases and handling of individual workstations, the main pathologies of the cervical region.
