SRMG promotes 1st Professional Defense Forum, with live broadcast on CBR's Workplace

The event, which had the support of CBR, was held on July 6, at the CRMG Auditorium, in Belo Horizonte (MG). Free for the entire radiological community, the forum had an intense schedule, with highly relevant topics. In addition, it was broadcast live on Workplace, by the group Lugar no CBR, allowing all members of the platform the possibility of interacting with guests, sending questions and comments. After the official opening held by Dr. Cibele Alves de Carvalho, president of SRMG, Dr. Alair Sarmet Santos, president of CBR, gave a presentation on “CBR and the current picture of Radiology in Brazil”. Then, the College's economic adviser, Carlos Moura, spoke about the current economic scenario of Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging, followed by another explanation by Dr. Cibele, on CBR's actions in the field of professional defense. The second stage of the discussions was dedicated to the themes “Pejotization”, with Dr. Cristiano Alves Pedrosa, and “Specialty cooperatives: an alternative for receiving fees with enhanced fees?”, with Dr. Sergio Ribeiro. In the end, after opening for debate, CBR's economic advisor closed the discussions by providing several reflections on future perspectives.
