Check out the themes and classes of the CBR23 Intensive Courses

The 52nd Brazilian Congress of Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging (CBR23) will feature a rich scientific program and the presence of several international specialists in various subspecialties. CBR23 will take place from October 12th to 14th, at Windsor Oceânico, located in Barra da Tijuca (RJ). 

In all, our Congress will have six Intensive Courses, check out the themes, classes and schedule for each one of them: 

US Dermatological

The course will feature four lectures on different topics during the 14th (last day of the event). The first of them will take place at 8:30 am (Brasília time) and will address 'Benign Cutaneous Lesions and Nail'. The second class takes place at 10:45 am and the theme will be: Hidradenitis Suppurativa and Malignant Cutaneous Lesions. In the afternoon we will have two more exhibitions. The first of them is scheduled for 2 pm and will address 'Cosmiatria'. And the last class of the day will be on 'Cosmiatry Complications', at 4:15 pm. All US Dermatologic lectures will take place in the America III room.

US Doppler  

The course will also have four editions during the day, but the classes will take place on the 13th. The first topic will be 'Carotid and Vertebral', at 8:30 am (Brasília time). Afterwards, at 10:45 am the theme presented will be 'Doppler in Internal Medicine (Hepatic and Renal)'. After lunch, we will have classes on 'Lower Limbs l' and 'Lower Limbs ll', at 2pm and 4:15pm respectively. All classes will also take place in the América lll room.

Multiparametric US of the Liver

This course differs a little from those already mentioned. It will be taught in just one session, with the theme 'Multiparametric Liver US'. The class starts at 8:30 am and is scheduled to end at 5:45 pm, in room América lll, on October 12 (first day of the Congress). During the course period, students will have three breaks, the first at 9:50 am, the second at 12:00 pm and the last at 3:20 pm.

US Musculoskeletal

Two topics will be addressed within the course: The first topic is 'US Musculoskeletal', which will take place on October 12, from 8:30 am to 5:45 pm, in the America ll room. And the second subject addressed will be 'Intensive Update Course on Ultrasonography of the Musculoskeletal System'. Classes on the subject will take place on October 13, from 8 am to 1 pm, in the America ll room.

US Point-Of-Care

This is the course with the most sessions, there will be six classes in all, five of which are on different subtopics. On October 13th, we will have exhibitions on 'Protocol fast – 'Understanding Lung Ultrasonography' and 'Application Activities – Protocol and fast – Understanding Lung Ultrasonography', at 2pm and 4:15pm, respectively. The following day, October 14th, four classes will mark the event, the first two with the theme 'Learning how to use Pocus in Head and Neck and Musculoskeletal Emergency' (8:30 am and 10:45 am). In the afternoon, at 2 pm, we will have 'Pocus Vascular – Main Applications' and after'Pocus Vascular – Expanding the Physical Examination', at 4:15 pm. All classes will take place in the América ll room.

Bone densitometry

As well as the intensive course on Multiparametric US of the Liver, the exhibition on Bone Densitometry will have only one session and the theme is: Bone Densitometry Body Composition by DXA. The class will be held on October 12 from 2:00 pm to 5:45 pm in the Oceania IV room.
