Brazilian Marathon of Residents reaches its 3rd edition

Already traditional among residents across the country, the Brazilian Marathon of Radiological Knowledge of Residents (MBR) will take place again this year during the Brazilian Congress of Radiology, in October, in Rio de Janeiro.

Its objective is to promote approximation and encourage mastery of radiological knowledge among resident and trainee physicians, promote the exchange of experiences between different institutions in the country and abroad, in addition to boosting academic activity and fostering the spirit of cooperation and work in team.

Teams made up of three participants may register, without the need to belong to the same institution or be in the same year of graduation. Two or more teams from the same service are also allowed. The groups will have 40 seconds to answer each question, all involving radiological images. Last year, more than 30 teams from all over the country participated.

It is worth mentioning that only doctors who are attending one of the three official years of residency or improvement are allowed to participate.

As in previous editions, as an incentive and prize, the members of the winning team will receive registration, air tickets and lodging to participate in the Annual Meeting of the American Roentgen Ray Society (ARRS), which in 2019 will take place in Honolulu, Hawaii, (USA ), from the 5th to the 10th of May.

Rules and registration will be available soon.
