Already traditional among residents across the country, the Brazilian Marathon of Radiological Resident Knowledge (MBR) will be held again this year during the Brazilian Congress of Radiology in October in Rio de Janeiro.
Its objective is to promote rapprochement and stimulate the mastery of radiological knowledge between resident and undergraduate physicians, promote the exchange of experiences between different institutions in the country and abroad, as well as boost academic activity and foster a spirit of cooperation and work in the field. team.
Teams consisting of three participants may be registered, without having to belong to the same institution or be in the same year of formation. Two or more teams of the same service are also allowed. The groups will have 40 seconds to answer each question, all involving radiological images. Last year, more than 30 teams from all over the country participated.
It is noteworthy that only doctors who are attending one of the three official years of residency or further education are allowed to participate.
As in previous editions, as an incentive and reward, the winning team members will earn registration, airfare and lodging to attend the American Roentgen Ray Society (ARRS) Annual Meeting, which will take place in 2019 in Honolulu, Hawaii, (USA). ), May 5-10.
