CBR looking to the future

With an eye on the next five years, the Brazilian College of Radiology and Imaging Diagnosis held, on November 1st, a workshop with the participation of various steakholders to discuss and review the institution's strategic objectives. Strategic Planning is the systematization of decisions about objectives, resources and organizational competences in order to develop or coordinate its strategy in the long term. When producing the strategy, the plan makes the mission, vision, values, analyzes and guidelines available to the institution. As part of this process, in a step prior to the workshop, a questionnaire for those stakeholders, including associates, board members, former presidents and collaborators, in which specific questions were asked about the structure of CBR as an entity, its culture, its values, its strengths and weaknesses. All who responded had their identities preserved. Furthermore, aware of the many changes the world is going through and always looking for ways to reinvent itself, CBR took another important step towards this goal. In October, the company Nômade - Serviços de Inovação em Comunicação e Importação was contracted to provide the service of planning and co-creation of the new positioning of the Brazilian Congress of Radiology. Nômade is a company that works with innovation through activities focused on organizational development and service design, helping companies to be more relevant to society, people and the market. Solutions are offered through the approach of Strategic Design and Systemic Psychology, combining behavior analysis with intelligence in projects. The works already started during the Brazilian Congress of Radiology (CBR19), in Fortaleza, when the Nômade team was present with a stand called “CBR of the Future”, in which the congressmen could share their perspectives in a panel, through small errands. In addition, interviews with important stakeholders were carried out in order to collect support material. The idea is to guide an update on the brand (branding), the format (activities and participation experience) and the business model (economic sustainability) of the congress. “The CBR project came with the intention of updating the event's proposal, renewing the experience offered to the public and valuing this important event at the College. The entire process was guided by 'Codesign', that is, listening and co-creating with actors who can influence and be impacted. We are halfway there, we have already articulated many perspectives with radiologists, residents, CBR members and brands in the Radiology market. The possibilities are very promising, everyone has a great affection for CBR and demonstrates a great openness to participate in this renewal”, explains Daniel Muller Caminha, managing partner of Nômade. On the afternoon of this Thursday (28th) an important workshop, in which the Nômade team will present proposals based on the findings and on all the work carried out up to this stage. From this, the final construction of the three deliveries that the project has foreseen will begin: (1) redesign of the event's brand, (2) redesign of the program's format and experiences and (3) redesign of the business model, aligning new products and services.
